CNGA’s Colorado Certified Nursery Professional (CCNP) program promotes high quality standards and professionalism for the Colorado nursery industry. Managing or working in a nursery requires an in-depth knowledge of plant physiology, entomology, weed control, turf management, pruning, plant identification, landscape design, and disease control.

Certification provides the knowledge and tools to extend an employee's value to your company and your customers. Individuals holding this certification are uniquely trained and qualified personnel who have the highest level of industry knowledge. The seminars are recommended to prepare for the exam.

Requirements to sit for the exam:

  • At least 2,000 hours of verifiable employment with a Colorado registered greenhouse, garden center, contractor or an allied industry.
  • A completed exam application.
