Plant Walk at the Regis University ArboretumIn the heart of Denver lies one of the state's best collections of mature and rare trees. The arboretum at Regis University includes more than 1,300 trees spanning 85 genuses and 300 species. Among these you'll find nine 'champion' trees - trees that are the largest of their species in the state. CNGA member Stan Brown, Alameda Wholesale Nursery, will be your tour guide and provide great stories and interesting facts about the trees that you'll see on the walk. After the Plant Walk, you're invited for a Social Hour at Stan's own residential arboretum, a 2 acre collection of unusual trees he has planted over the past 20 years. Don't miss this chance to learn and enjoy fellowship with your CNGA friends and acquaintances.. The Plant Walk is free for CNGA members, but we do ask that you register.
