Efficient and wise water use is a major focus for the Colorado Springs Utilities. Their approach to managing water for their customers is showcased at the Conservation and Environmental Center where various water wise plants and landscape practices are demonstrated.

For nearly 30 years, the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden has inspired visitors to create beautiful, livable landscapes while saving water. It features the award winning Water Wise Neighborhood, built to show homeowners the possibilities for great landscapes that don't use much water. Five landscape designs have been installed to show homeowners the options that are available for attractive landscapes that minimize water use. They include low cost, contemporary, foothills, easy care and prairie. 


Your member host, Colorado Springs Utilities, invites you to explore and enjoy this outstanding educational facility, all while socializing with your fellow member friends and associates. With spectacular views of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods as a backdrop, it will be a memorable CNGA occasion!
