 Rocky Mountain Plant Guide 2008

Colorado Nursery Research & Education Foundation (CNREF) was formed in 1989 to support the science and practice of horticulture within the State of Colorado. Its purpose is to raise funds to support nursery-related research and provide annual scholarships for horticulture students at Colorado State University, Front Range Community College, and Northeastern Junior College. CNREF supports woody plant research at CSU, and reports the results on the CNGA Member Resources page.

The Colorado Floriculture Foundation (CFF) provides the necessary funding for plant research, education and scholarships. Founded by those that are passionate about floriculture, it has been providing the necessary funding for literally growing the green industry. Indeed the impact of the CFF awarded scholarships and plant research reaches nationwide.

Stan Brown (Alameda Wholesale Nursery) and Dan Wise (Fort Collins Wholesale Nursery) fight over the infamous CNREF gnome. Fort Collins Wholesale Nursery bought the gnome last year, and it was auctioned off again for $1,000 at this year's 2011 Annual Banquet on Feb. 10, to raise funds for scholarships.
